The FPC, a core government project, is a distribution center that produces and sells products. It is a distribution system where the National Federation of Fisheries Cooperatives manages the production and sales of products.

The FPC is a four-story building with a total area of 13,000 ㎡. It was constructed over the last three years with KRW 14 billion of project cost.

The center comprises ice making facilities that can produce 60 tons of ice per day, refrigeration facilities and processing facilities.

Around 60 people will work at the center processing marine products and selecting and sorting fisheries.

"The FPC will manage all steps from processing, commercializing to marketing, which will increase the income of fishermen and revitalize the regional economy," said a provincial official.
