According to Yonhap News,

(SEJONG=Yonhap News) The Ministry of Environment announced June 10 that it will jointly host the World Leaders' Conservation Forum 2015 with Jeju Special Self-governing Province and the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) from July 7 to 9 at the International Convention Center Jeju.

The World Leaders' Conservation Forum 2015 is a new kind of a forum that has been initiated from the high-level World Leaders’ Dialogues, which was first adopted at the IUCN World Conservation Congress in 2012 in Jeju.

Experts at home and abroad will participate in the forum to share opinions on preservation and peace of the border area and find measures to seek coexistence between human and nature. The theme of the forum is "Nature: a path to peace and coexistence."

The first day will comprise Experts’ Meetings and parallel sessions and the second day will begin with the opening ceremony where Alan Weisman, the author of The World Without Us, will give a keynote speech, followed by Leaders’ Dialogues. The last day will be filled with a field trip where participants will tour the natural heritages of Jeju.
