(JEJU=NEWSIS) Jeju Special Self-Governing Province announced July 16 that the construction of a new international passenger terminal for the Port of Jeju has been completed. The province invested KRW 41.3 billion in the new international passenger terminal in 2013.

The international passenger terminal (60,727 ㎡) comprises a terminal, a two-story building with a total floor area of 9,885 ㎡, and a parking lot for 194 vehicles including 156 cars and 38 large-sized ones.

The construction was promoted through a bid system to revitalize the regional economy by expanding the participation of regional companies.

The province ill hold the completion ceremony on July 28.
