(JEJU=NEWSIS) Jeju Energy Corporation held a completion ceremony of the Dongbok-Bukchon wind farm on October 19.

The Jeju Energy Corporation has invested a total of KRW 69.9 billion in the wind farm, which began construction in August, 2014. The wind farm began commercial operations last August.

The Dongbok-Bukchon wind farm can generate 65,700㎿h of electricity, supplying electricity to 18,000 households annually.

The Corporation expects the wind farm will reduce the carbon dioxide emissions by 3,200t annually.

The Corporation established a task force team to effectively manage and operate the wind farm.
