(JEJU=NEWSIS) The Jeju Free International Development Center (JDC) signed a business agreement for mutual cooperation partnership with Jeju Island, Human Resources Development Service of Korea (HRD Korea) and Genting Singapore on November 16 to help the youth find jobs and engage in overseas training programs.

Landing Jeju Development Co., Ltd., which is promoting the development of a complex resort at the Jeju Myths and History Theme Park, agreed to hire 80% of its 5,000 new jobs from Jeju.

The agreement is to capitalize on the Jeju Myths and History Theme Park to build a system to help the youth find jobs and participate in overseas training programs and to nurture global talents.

Jeju Island, HRD Korea and JDC will send 60 people including university students, graduates and the underprivileged to Singapore as an overseas training program.
