North Jeolla Province Breaks Ground for Complex Business Center

According to Yonhap News,

(IKSAN=Yonhap News) North Jeolla Province held a groundbreaking ceremony on December 22 for a complex business center in Iksan.

The complex business center in Iksan will establish a cooperative corporate ecosystem to evaluate the research and development of potential companies to move to the LED industrial complex under construction, develop new products and support to gain domestic and international certification.

The complex business center, to be completed in April, 2017, will be a six-story building (8,548㎡) with one underground floor and institutions including the Jeonbuk office of the Korea Institute of Lighting Technology, Korea Additive Manufacturing Innovation Center and Jeonbuk Convergence Design Center will move to the center.

The province will invest KRW 22.4 billion (including KRW 4 billion of national expenses) in building the center.
