JEOLLABUK-DO < invest Korea

According to Yonhap News,

(JEONJU=Yonhap News) Science and engineering students of ASEAN countries are attending a training and cultural experience program at Chonbuk National University.

The program is backed by the government to attract ASEAN undergraduate students to Korean graduate schools, and Chonbuk National University was selected as the training institute two years in a row.

24 undergraduate students from Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Vietnam, Indonesia, Thailand, and the Philippines are participating in this year's program to study information and communication engineering and visit Korean companies and research institutes. Participating students will also have opportunities to learn Korean language and experience traditional culture.
