Two More Companies to Move into National Food Cluster in Iksan

According to Yonhap News,

(IKSAN=Yonhap News) On June 1, Iksan signed with Union Tech and Jeongdam, which have agreed to lease units within Foodpolis, the national food industrial cluster in the North Jeolla city.

With the new additions, a total of 32 companies will call Foodpolis home, raising the occupancy rate to 39 percent.

Union Tech will be leasing 4,000 square meters of land to build a factory that produces dried fruit and cheese chips, as well as green pepper flakes and powder.

With a network of some 170 stores across the country, fried chicken franchise Jeongdam plans to open new R&D and production facilities on a 3,000 square meter lot inside Foodpolis.
