(JANGSU=Newsis News) The county of Jangsu in North Jeolla Province announced July 6 that it held an opening ceremony for 'Local Food Happiness Market,' the county's official offline shop for local foods.

Some 100 persons participated in the event that day, including Jangsu County Governor Choi Yong-deuk.

The new Local Food Happiness Market will be run on a system that connects to the county's first online shopping mall for local agricultural and specialty goods, offering products from a total of 26 local farms and food processing companies.

The store will feature agricultural goods such as apples, omija berries, tomatoes, mushrooms, as well as processed meats, kimchi, fermented sauces, teas, health foods that were produced in Jangsu.

Through a continuous promotion campaign, the county plans to enhance the brand value of Jangsu's agricultural and specialty goods, and strengthen local distribution networks.
