Fine Korea, ACM to Invest in Gimje, Create 600 Jobs

According to Yonhap News,

(JEONJU=Yonhap News) Australian foreign-invested company and maker of special equipment vehicles ACM Korea and poultry-processing company Fine Korea have agreed to invest in Gimje-si, North Jeolla Province.

On February 6 at the provincial government building, the heads of the two companies and the two local governments signed a memorandum of understanding on the establishment and operation of factories and employment,

Based on the MoU, Fine Korea will invest KRW 120 billion to expand its duck and chicken processing facilities in Yongsan-ri, Geumsan-myoen, Gimje-si, and hire 550 new employees.

ACM Korea will invest KRW 15 billion to make special equipment vehicles in the Gimje Free Trade Zone, and export the products to Australia and Europe.

ACM Korea also plans to hire 60 new employees.
