Jeonju City, Jeonbuk successfully held the 2018 International 3D Printing·Drone Korea Expo" and confirmed the competitiveness of new growth industries.
From April 6 to 8, the expo held at Jeonju World Cup Stadium welcomed about 25,000 people of all ages.
There were 180 booths under 7 different themes, operated by 120 companies including Korea Land and Geospatial InformatiX Corporation (LX), Korea Land & Housing Corporation and Korea Transportation Safety Authority (TS).
About 40 companies (50 booths) introduced products related to 3D printing, including Woongjin and Ican.
Many participants also took part in the 3D printing design competition to experience printing everyday items and figures using new technologies.
About 30 companies operated booths related to drones, including Cyndrone, Sae Man Geun Air and SungJin Aero.
Participants took part in the drone soccer challenge, drone claw crane and drone curling activities.
In addition, public institutions set up a special exhibition center on topics related to the Fourth Industrial Revolution.
LX operated a movable drones control center outside the venue, exhibited various drones including agricultural control drones, and provided a wealth of information and offered drone simulations.
