(JEONGEUP=Yonhap News) On April 18, Samyoung Unitech, a radiopharmaceutical manufacturing company, signed an investment agreement to build a factory in Jeongeup City's advanced scientific industrial complex located in Jeonbuk province.

Samyoung Unitech will invest KRW 3 billion by 2020 to build its new factory on a 8,158㎡ lot inside the advanced scientific industrial complex.

The company specializes in manufacturing medical diagnostic and therapeutic radioisotopes and related equipment.

The city's advanced scientific industrial complex was designated as a Jeonbuk R&D special zone, and provides benefits for tenant companies such as support for establishing R&D facilities as well as national and local tax reductions.
