NongHyup Chemical Invests KRW 100B in Move to Iksan

According to Yonhap News,

(JEONJU=Yonhap News) NongHyup Chemical, a research and production company for crop protection products, sets a new nest in Jeonbuk.

NongHyup Chemical has decided to move its factory and headquarters currently located in Seongnam, Gyeonggi-do to the Iksan 3rd general industrial complex by 2023.

The company plans to build a factory with KRW 100 billion on a 110,000 ㎡ land, and hire 300 employees.

NongHyup Chemical, Jeonbuk-do and Iksan City signed an investment agreement on July 16 for the project.

The company's move will generate an annual KRW 700 million in local tax revenue, the creation of 200 indirect jobs for product distribution as well as help attract more companies to the region.
