Jeonbuk-do Cooperates with SBC for the Economy of the Province

Jeonbuk-do and Small & Medium Business Corporation decided to cooperate to boost the regional economy.

Song Ha-jin, Governor of Jeonbuk-do and Lee Sang-jik, President of the Small & Medium Business Corporation (SBC) signed a MOU on boosting regional economy of Jeonbuk-do and creating jobs on August 7.

The two organizations decided to establish a system for cooperation on innovative growth of small and medium venture businesses and boost of social economy through this MOU, with the aim to boost regional economy and create jobs.

The MOU includes: establishment and operation of Jeonbuk SBC Starup Academy; strengthened financial support for innovative growth infrastructure investors; expanded support for export and global expansion; strengthened consulting support on company innovation; creation of cooperative complex related to electric vehicle and autonomous driving vehicles; expanded promotion of social economic businesses; and strengthened support for normalization of management for small and medium ventures in crisis.

"We will do our best to create decent jobs by implementing various policies," said Mr. Lee, President of SBC, "We will continue to strengthen cooperation with local governments for balaced development of regions, through innovative growth of SMEs, economic boost and job creation."

"The Province will try the best to help SMEs grow, stabilize management and enhance competitiveness," said Mr. Song, Governor of Jeonbuk-do, and added, "To find policies necessary for the SMEs, we will establish close cooperation system with related organizations."
