(GUNSAN=Yonhap News) Jeonbuk Province and Gunsan City signed an investment agreement with Pro-Green Tech on August 24 at the City Hall.

Pro-Green Tech plans to build their plant in the Gunsan 2 Industrial Complex spending KRW 25 billion starting from September.

The plant will be operated from 2019 and hire 56 employees.

Pro-Green Tech is a chemical company that produces pharmaceutical intermediate, cosmetics material and fine chemicals.

"Companies investing in Gunsan will be provided with 20 percent additional assistance than other areas in terms of land purchase and facility investment," said Lee Seung-bo, the deputy mayor of Gunsan, adding, "We will provide financial and administrative support to Pro-Green Tech so that it would concentrate on their manufacturing."
