(JEONJU=Yonhap News) Jeonbuk-do finished providing a Wi-Fi zone in major sightseeing spots started providing the service for free.
A total of 39 sightseeing spots in 11 cities and districts including Jeonju Art Theme Street, Gunsan Seonyudo and Jangsu Banghwa-dong Family Resort now have a free Wi-Fi zone.
Jeonbuk-do invested KRW 700 million with the Korea Tourism Organization and SK Telecom since May to establish free Wi-Fi zones so that tourists could easily access the Internet without having to worry about their data usage.
The Province plans to expand the free Wi-Fi service next year with libraries, public health centers, community centers and city buses.
