Jeonju's beauty companies explored the opportunities to enter Chinese markets.
On May 17, Jeonju city announced that it sets up and operates Jeonju city booth, jointly with Jeonbuk office of KITA at the 24th China Beauty Expo in Shanghai, China on May 20-22.
The Expo is the world's largest exhibition specialized in beauty industry, participated by 3,500 companies from 40 countries last year.
Six companies are to take part in Jeonju booth to promote products and have export consultations.
The city supports participation fees (90%), interpretation fees, flight expenses, and transportation fees for display products.
A city official said, "We will support Jeonju's competitive beauty industry be promoted globally by taking part in large exhibitions tso that outstanding products find ways for exports."
