Iksan pears exported to Canada, Taiwan, and Vietnam

32 tons of pears recently harvested in Iksan, North Jeolla was exported to Canada on August 13.
The pears exported came from Geumma-myeon and Nangsan-meyon, Iksan.
Iksan city plans to export 690 tons of pears to Canada, Taiwan and Vietnam.
In Iksan, 1,700 tons of pears is produced annually on 67 hectares of land.
An official from Iksan city said, "Quality of pears this year is especially good thanks to the right growth condition," adding that "export volume might increase than planned."
