According to Yonhap News,
North Jeolla Province came up with a draft on Nov. 22 for next year’s community development plan which appears to cost as much as KRW 47.3 billion.
The draft, an annual base, autonomously worked out plan encompasses a broad range of topics for efficient budget management to well reflect regional issues and demand. Under the mission of ‘Innovation for business ecosystem that embraces regional leading enterprises’, the plan outlines how to enhance innovation capacity, ways to revitalize the rust belt and investment in the business ecosystem.
To push up for the project, national budget KRW 30 billion adding to municipality expense KRW 16.4 billion were allocated, KRW 9.1 billion up from the same period last year.
A city official said “To make an adaptive response to ever changing industrial paradigm, we’ll make through analysis to learn more about regional issues and demand, which can further strengthen local economy.”
