In an attempt to embrace global financial ecosystems inside the Innovative City, North Jeolla Province, central / local governments and public institutions all have formed solidarity.

Presidential Committee for Balanced National Development, National Pension Service and seven other public institutions in North Jeolla Province signed a memorandum of understanding with a slogan of ‘A Business Contract for Balanced National Development & Innovative Growth’ with local authorities.

The signees involved reached a consensus about maintaining a constant commitment to the development plan: facilitating a global financial system in the Innovative City, developing a new business model for well-balanced regional development and giving a boost to local economies.

The president of Presidential Committee for Balanced National Development said at the MOU signing ceremony that “We need a systematic and bold plan to avoid widening geographical disparities, which is a must for equal distribution of wealth. By forming a strong cooperative network, we’ll keep working on the development plan we’ve all agreed at the national level. “

“We’ll never spare our effort to make the province a good model for innovation, an ultimate goal that the government has been in pursuit of.”, said the chair of National Pension Service.
