North Jeolla Province and Gochang-gun signed an investment MOU with three food companies- GogoHoldings, Oncook and Taesong Co., Ltd on Aug 12. Under the investment pact, the three counterparts spend as much as KRW 89 billion on building new production plants near Gochang industry clusters.

Gogoholdings, which plans to move into general industry cluster, will add its manufacturing facility for dietary supplements production and grain processing, while hiring 310 new employees.

The rest two also unveiled site-locating and recruitment plans to produce home meal replacement (HMR). The investment is anticipated to add 320 new jobs. Governor of the town pledged to give strong support for investment attraction, which ultimately leads to local job creation and economic growth within the community.”
