According to Yonhap News,

North Jeolla Province, which has long been sending trade delegation, announced a switch over of the program from offline site visits to online, part of efforts to limit face-to-face contact to prevent COVID-19 transmission.

Under such decision, the delegation will tap into new business opportunities, while expanding trade channels in 12 regions in 10 countries. Starting from India on Aug 24, they enter into global markets in the Middle East, Latin America and the Commonwealth of Independent States (abb. CIS) with the support of Korea Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA) and Korea SMEs and Startup Agency.

The Provincial authorities will select 54 potential candidates, who are small but highly competitive businesses to benefit from the program. These selectees are allowed to join one-on-one virtual business meeting to reach out to potential buyers and to enjoy a package of aftercare programs to boost trade overseas.
