Changheung to establish a new factory in Iksan FIZ
Changheung, an agro-equipment producer, signed an investment agreement on Oct 29 to build up its production plant in the city of Iksan. With nearly KRW 4.5 billion, the machinery maker is planning to establish a new factory on a 19,362㎡ site near Iksan Parts-Materials Industrial Complex within Complex-type foreign investment zone (FIZ) by the end of 2022.
Once the factory comes into operation as it’s planned, Changheung is anticipated to add nearly 24 new jobs locally.
In celebration of the agreement, the city mayor said “Welcome to the city with a full package of merits and business advantages to enjoy. We have FIZ and several other industry clusters with affordable rents and perfect geographical conditions to run business. For successful relocation, we’ll spare no efforts to provide financial and administrative support for the investor.”
