Jeonju city in North Jeolla Province, Jeonbuk National University and IntroMedic signed an MOU on Nov 9 for grabbing larger market share of digital health care business, which was recently nominated as part of the government-led growth initiatives, Digital New Deal,

With the aims of fostering talents and further reinforcing R&D in bio-healthcare industry, the provincial authority and its counterparts reached a consensus to help the digital healthcare business lead to a boom in local economy, to secure sufficient human and business resources and to give full support to build out industry and technology base and to focus more on R&D infrastructure for higher capabilities of medical technologies.

In celebration of the MOU signing ceremony, the city mayor said “You’ll be assured that the industry-university sponsorship would let us set out a path toward Digital New Deal, which in turn, leads to balanced national growth and job creation.”
