According to Yonhap News,

Six companies including MiNDERS and DI Media, specializing in immersive technologies such as virtual or augmented reality, signed an MOU over investments and business relocation with North Jeolla Province on Jan 28, said the local authorities. Spending nearly KRW 700 million in total by the end of this year, these investors are planning to incorporate separate research and business offices inside Iksan city’s incubation center, adding approximately 50 new jobs.

By forming a business infrastructure of what’s called “Hologram Contents Service Center”, the city of Iksan has been fostering the industry to help grow into part of leading growth engines in Korea.

The city mayor said “With the commitment to moving toward a new hub for virtual graphic technologies, we’ll spare no effort to provide full support to help business succeed in investment.”
