According to Yonhap News,

Processed meat products manufactured in the city of Jeongeup in North Jeolla Province will be in shipment to countries across the Europe. The provincial government celebrated the first shipment of 16 tons of natural hog casings produced by a local meat processing company, WOORI B&B, on Mar 8. The products will be on board and exported to the Republic of Albania, right after being quarantined by the Animal and Plant Quarantine Agency on Mar 14 at the Port of Busan.

The natural hog casings are main ingredients for making premium homemade pork sausage. WOORI B&B is scheduled to sell over 500 tons of processed pork meat products to Europe annually.

An official said “Customers in Europe has started to taste and acknowledge high-quality Korean brand pork products. We’ll keep working on reaching out to potential buyers across the world.”
