A semiconductor developer, TAKOMA, signed an MOU on Apr 23 over its investment with the city of Iksan. The semiconductor producer rolled out is plan, equivalent, in value, to KRW 10.3 billion, to build up its new production line on a 20,418㎡ site within the 3rd Iksan industry cluster by the end of next year.
Once the factory starts operation, TAKOMA, producing key materials, parts and equipment used for semiconductor manufacturing and for export to countries like Japan and Taiwan, appears to add nearly 30 new jobs.
In celebration of the event, the city mayor said “The investment into highly capable, technologically promising companies is anticipated to lead to synergy effect, bringing vigor from a grim reality amid COVID-19 induced recession.”
