Korean Foods, manufactured in Korea National Food Cluster (Foodpolis) are ready for its debut to build brand awareness and customer engagement online via China’s largest B2C e-commerce website, T-Mall. Poofpolis said on Apr 26 that the online retail platform will help Korean food producers connect their webstore to the marketplace on the T Mall’s Korean Pavilion running under the sponsorship of Korea Agro-Fisheries and Food Trade Corporation (aT).

Such commercial showcase aims to help small and mid-sized companies expand their market presence overseas and find highly capable business full of potential, so as to form cooperative partnerships systematically and to make the best use of superb business infrastructure and networks.

By opening the virtual pavilion since last year, aT has displayed and matched nearly 161 products and services as of March this year. They’re planning to add 250 more by the end of this year and open five new sales channels on Shoppee, the leading online marketplace in South East Asia and others.

By employing its technology –production facilities inside, aT has supported a set of activities stepping into the full lifecycle of product development from safety control, quality assessment, packaging, sauce development and even pre-commercial production system (a pilot plant) in an attempt to catch up with the global trends in the food industry.
