3 Companies to build factories in Namwon Industrial Complex with KRW 38.2 billion investment

Nanum Hutec, World Glove, and SW Chemicals had an Investment MOU signing ceremony at Namwon City Hall on June 2, with a promise to build factories by investing KRW 38.2 billion in General Industrial Complex, Namwon-si, Joeonbuk.

Nanum Hutec is to build a factory line on the land of 8,916 sq. meters by investing KRW 18.6 billion, producing building materials using eco-friendly pulp, among others.

World Glove is to build a factory on the land of 8,250 sq. meters with KRW 9 billion, producing medical gloves, while SW Chemicals is to invest KRW 10.6 billion.

When these factories become operational, 180 jobs are expected to be created.

An official said, "We're grateful for making such a bold investment decision under the challenging environment due to the COVID-19 pandemic," adding that "we will make Namwon as a city conducive to business and investment activities."
