3 Companies to build factories in Iksan Industrial Complex with KRW 20.9 bln investment

Care Farm, KG Semiconductor, and Plannigsun are to build factories in the 3rd Industrial Complex, Iksan, Jeonbuk-do, and signed an Investment MOU at Iksan City Hall on June 11.

They will invest in total of KRW 20.9 bllion by 2023 to set up their factories on the site of 11,300 sq. meters in Iksan 3rd Industrial Complex.

Care Farm is a food and beverage producer, KG semiconductor is a semiconductor materials manufacturer, and Plannigsun is a medical equipment producer.

When these factories become fully operational, about 140 jobs are expected to be created.

A mayor said, "We're grateful that they have made such a bold investment decision despite challenging economic situation due to the COVID-19," promising active support.
