According to Yonhap News,

Gochang-gun, Jeollabuk-do announced on August 11 that 'Sun Wun (15% alcohol, 375㎖)' produced by Gochang West Coast Bokbunja company, a liquor manufacturer, will be exported to Australia.

Gochang-gun explained that Sun Wun is an alcoholic beverage, produced through fermentation process of top-quality Bokbunja-ju containing bio ingredients in specially made red clay.

Recognized for its excellence, Sun Wun was used as the official dinner drink for APEC Summit in 2005 and the Blue House banquet in 2017.

The $70,000 worth of Sun Wun exported to Australia will be distributed to local supermarkets and restaurants in Sydney.

An official from Gochang-gun said, "We will continue to support the development of export markets in order to generate income for Bokbunja-producing farms and processing companies."
