Gusan to reinvigorate the development of EVs

The industry, academia, and government institutions joined hands to reinvigorate eco-friendly EV materials and parts in InnoTown in Gunsan.

Jeollabuk-do, Gunsan-si, InnoTown Promotion Group in Gunsan University, Edison Motors, Kostec, Blasan Industrial and others signed an MOU on February 17.

According to the MOU, they pledged to cooperate in ▲ Joint development of EVs ▲ Mass production of E/E parts ▲ Development of electric farm machinery.

To this end, they will cooperate in pursuit of mutual development through technology exchange and technological consultation, joint planning and proposal of new national projects, joint technology development, utilization and support of shared equipment, and development of expert fostering program.

Jeollabuk-do and Gunsan-si will continue to provide customized support so that companies can grow through the project to foster 'Gunsan InnoTown'.

Gunsan InnoTown was established in Saemanguem Industrial Complex and Gunsan National Industrial Complex in 2020, and aim to revitalize local economy by creating the ecosystem that commercialized public technologies in the region, focsed on EV materials and parts, its special area.
