KOSFO held 'Business Trip' in Jeonbuk State, signing MOU to promote startups ecosystem

On July 5, the Korea Startup Forum (KOSFO) announced that it kicked off a 'Business Trip' event in Jeonbuk State.

This event, part of KOSFO's flagship membership program, the workshop, includes first-hand experiences of the local start-up ecosystem and examination of business potential.

More than 150 people participated, including partners for the ecosystem such as startups, investment companies, laws and financial companies, and officials from Jeonbuk State and related organizations.

Participants toured the Saemangeum area, including downtown Gunsan and Seonyudo, July 4, the first day of three-day event, and had talks with entrepreneurs to revitalize the start-up ecosystem.

KOSFO also signed an MOU with Jeonbuk State to revitalize the local start-up ecosystem.

KOSFO and Jeonbuk State plan to join efforts to strengthen the ecosystem of local startups through: mutual partnership and exchange activities; policy development and information exchange to facilitate regional innovation; and establishment of the community for Jeonbuk-based entrepreneurs and exchange programs.
