According to Yonhap News,

Jeonbuk State and the Jeonbuk Center for Creative Economy & Innovation held the "MEGA US EXPO" in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam to enhance cooperation between startups and companies of the two countries.

The EXPO has been held for 3 years based on the cooperation between Jeonbuk State and the Department of Science and Technology of Ho Chi Minh City.

This year, the EXPO has been expanded to an event at the national level with 26 start-up support organizations and 165 start-ups across the country participating.

The event featured a contest of university students' start-up idea, business meetings, live commerce, and meetings with investors.

In particular, 16 major venture capital (VC) companies from Korea and Vietnam took part in "Startup Investment IR Venture Star", held for the first time this year, helping start-ups enter the global market.

Jeonbuk State expects that this EXPO, which will be held until August 28, will serve as an opportunity to solidify cooperation and networking between companies of the two countries.
