On October 16, K&S signed an MOU with Iksan City to make an investment to expand its plant, worth KRW 3.4 billion, in Iksan National Food Cluster, Jeonbuk State.
Under the MOU, K&S will expand its plant on 4,513 ㎡ site next to its existing plant located in the National Food Cluster with the aim of completing its construction in the first half of next year.
K&S decided to expand its plant to secure price competitiveness and increase sales by diversifying packaging materials and establishing integrated manufacturing and production procedures.
CEO of K&G said that "we will continue to develop packaging technology development in line with changing trends of the food industry."
Meanwhile, Iksan's mayor said, "as the food industry is a future growth engine of Iksan-si, we will provide every support needed for the growth of involved companies."
