According to Yonhap News,
Buan-gun, Jeonbuk-do (North Jeolla Province) said on April 26th it obtained the approval for the sites where the third agricultural industrial complex will be established from the Ministry for Food, Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries.
Buan-gun said it decided to create a new complex, since there is an increasing demand for sites as the sale of the existing agricultural industrial complex has completed.
The third agricultural industrial complex will be built nearby the second complex in Haengan-myeon on the area of 330,000m2 with the investment of KRW21 billion.
An official of Buan said “the approval for the agricultural industrial complex sites enable us to receive the state fund of KRW7 billion, reducing the parcel prices,” and added “we plan to attract companies in the new renewable energy and agricultural and fishing industries.”
