According to Yonhap News,
The Saemangeum Gunsan Free Economic Zone(SGFEZ), which relocated its office to Gunsan on July 1, embarks on attracting Japanese companies.
The SGFEZ plans to invite members of Seoul Japan Club including AJINOMOTO Korea, Marubeni Korea, Dongwoo Fine Chem, and hold an investment fair from July 14 to 15.
The SGFEZ plans to introduce the current status of industrial complexes in the province and show them factories inside industrial complexes.
The companies invited by the SGFEZ have a global competitive edge in automobiles, precision machinery and basic material sectors. If they move into the Saemangeum Industrial Complex, they are expected to play a major role in the establishment of industrial clusters.
An official said that the SGFEZ started to make new PR materials, publish news letters, and operate a Japanese website after moving into the Gunsan office.
