According to Yonhap News,

The International Conference on Social Corporation will be held in North Jeolla Province (Jeonbuk) for the first time in Asia.

Jeonbuk said the international conference organized by the government will be held at Hanok (traditional Korean house) village from July 2 to 4.

The conference will attract about 1,000 participants including policy makers, representatives of social enterprises, NGOs, local governments and Asia's No. 1 social enterprise, young job-seekers and professors.

The province plans to make every effort to successfully complete the international event through aggressive promotion.

It will also organize an additional support group to facilitate active participation from the private sector.

Jeonbuk will create a taskforce team to prepare for the event, hold a workshop, choose detailed schedules and location and recruit volunteers.

The Asia Social Entrepreneurs Summit, a network and promotion event for Asian social enterprises, will also be simultaneously held with the international conference in Jeonju.
