According to Yonhap News,
Wonkwang University Hospital in Iksan, north Jeolla Province inked a cooperation agreement with the National Cancer Center of Mongolia to support the country to improve its medical technology.
The National Cancer Center of Mongolia was selected to be included in the joint cooperation project between Korea and Mongolia in last August and sent its 19 medical staffs to Wonkwang University Hospital for training.
They were impressed by the Korean hospital's cutting-edge medical facilities at a robot rehabilitation room, cardiovascular center, surgery room and cancer center.
"We will expand medical technology exchanges with the National Cancer Center of Mongolia," said Jeong Eun-taek, director of Wonkwong University Hospital. "We will support Mongolia to gain access to cutting-edge medical technology."
