According to Yonhap News,

Four agricultural machinery and machinery parts manufacturers inked a 44 billion won-investment memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Wanju-gun (County) and Jeollabuk-do (Province) in mid-January. Under the MOU, the four companies - the agricultural machinery parts manufacturer LS Mtron, the metal manufacturer ASEA & TECH, the automobile component manufacturer DASAN Machineries and the industrial machinery manufacturer Hyundai Machinery will invest 44 billion won to build manufacturing and subsidiary facilities on a 87,000 square meter-land in the Wanju Techno Valley by 2015. If completed, the techno valley is expected to create 330 jobs.

"The establishment of the techno valley is forecast to create synergy effects with our strategic industry of automobiles and agricultural machinery components," said a Jeollabuk-do official.

The Wanju Techno Valley, scheduled for completion in May, is 65 percent completed. About 30 percent of the total 969,000 square meter-land up for rent has thus far been leased.
