The LED industry is one of the three growth engines for Iksan in 2013 with advanced Iksan renaissance project and jewel industry. It is also a leader in the field of green industry.

The city signed an agreement with the LEDLIC to build Korea’s first LED industrial complex and attracted a KRW 60 billion investment from the KB Investment & Securities last November. Iksan also held an opening ceremony for a plant factory of the LED Agri-bio Fusion Technology Research Center last May.
