Gunsan to Select Preliminary Social Enterprise for 2014
(ULSAN = Newsis) Gunsan-si announced on February 5 that it will accept application for “2014 preliminary social enterprise” by February 20.
A candidate need to be in the form of business, hires paid workers and fulfills corporate social responsibility by providing jobs and services to the society’s most vulnerable group.
Once nominated as a preliminary social enterprise, a company will be eligible to apply for subsidies for job creation project and project development.
The company will be provided with financial support for payroll costs of minimum wages for new employees, technology development and marketing activities, as well as management consulting service and preferential purchase right.
Job creation project will provide minimum wages to the newly hired workers and part of social insurance fees that are paid by employers.
For project development, a company will be provided up to KRW 50 million. The city will also provide up to KRW 20 million for the cost of equipment to the companies that have not received any subsidies for the cost of equipment for the last three years.
