SBC to Provide KRW 160 Bn support for Local SMEs

(JEONJU = Newsis) The Jeollabuk-do and Western Jeolloabuk-do Regional Offices of the Small and Medium Business Corporation (SBC Jeonbuk, SBC Western Jeonbuk) announced on February 13 that they will provide a total of KRW 161.7 billion support for the local small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to help the companies with financial problems.

This year, the offices increased the limit of support for business operation expense up to KRW one billion, and eased the criteria for eligibility to offer more support for medium-sized companies.

It will also rise the maximum limit of the preferential loan rate from the current one percent to two percent.

In particular, the SBC plans to accept applications for the loan program online for the convenience of the SMEs.
