(JEONJU = Yonhap News) Jeollabuk-do will kick off the plan to develop an economic-cooperative industrial complex with China in the Saemangeum project area.
According to Jeollabuk-do on March 5, the Korea Agency for Saemangeum Development and Investment (KASDI) recently organized a planning team for Korea-Chia economic cooperative industrial complex. Two countries agreed to on last December to develop an economic cooperative industrial complex in the Saemangeum area.
The planning team will be responsible for discovering and setting new policies for the development of the Korea-China economic cooperative industrial complex.
The team, which comprises four workers including a team leader, will directly report to the director of the investment and strategy bureau.
The province plans to strengthen the cooperation with the planning team to accelerate the development of the industrial complex.
