(GUNSAN=NEWSIS) The City of Gunsan, North Jeolla Province, published a practice guide for business support to create an environment where companies are doing good business, gaining great popularity from enterprises.

“A majority of small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) are not aware of local policies for supporting their businesses and they have not been able to utilize the policies. So the city decided to promote the policies extensively to attract more companies and investments from enterprises doing business in the city.” Gunsan said on May 14.

Information and graphic data on National Industrial Complexes and Saemangeum Industrial Complex are open to all businessman and visitors to the city.

"The city plans to focus on cooperation and open communication with companies and come up with policies that would benefit the companies.” said a city official. “Gunsan plans to keep updating information on the policies on the internet, making possible for companies to look at all the measures and policies at a glance.” he said.

The City of Gunsan plans to carry forward four major agendas (28 issues) to establish competitive infrastructures, lessening burden on business. Also, new policies for businesses are expected to be created this year.
