(GIMJE=NEWSIS) According to Gimje on Sept. 30, Gimje City is carrying out active investment promotion activities to attract 100 companies in the Gimje Horizon Industrial Complex. (2.93 million ㎡).

Daeseung, S.C. Chemicals, North Jeolla Province and Gimje City signed a mutual investment agreement.

Daeseung will invest KRW 50 billion in the construction of an automobile parts plant by 2017 and hire 80 new jobs. The company will invest an additional KRW 50 billion by 2020.

Also, S.C. Chemicals plans to invest KRW 16 billion in the establishment of a new technology plant and hire 180 new jobs.

"The companies that have invested in the Gimje Horizon Industrial Complex are best suppliers of leading domestic automobile manufacturers. We will develop the Gimje Horizon Industrial Complex into automobile cluster of North Jeolla Province,” said a Gimje official.
