(JEONJU=NEWSIS) Belgium’s Solvay, which produces premium silica, signed an agreement with North Jeolla Province to move into the Saemanugeum industrial complex.

Solvay Silica Korea will invest KRW 120 billion in the establishment of a plant on 69,935 ㎡ of land in the Saemangeum industrial complex.

The plant will begin operation in 2017 and plans to hire 80 new workers.
