Hampton Grains to Invest in National Food Cluster

(IKSAN=NEWSIS) Hampton Grains from the United States, which has signed an investment memorandum of understanding with the National Food Cluster, visited the PR booth of the cluster to reach an agreement on its investment.

CEO John Kwak of the Hampton Grains expanded the investment scope from 5,000 pyeong to 7,000 pyeong and agreed to export the powdered agricultural products of the province to the United States.

Kwak also carried out a working-level meeting with Purme, a grains producer and processor in Iksan, to establish a joint venture.

He also toured the sites of the food cluster and discussed his future project plans with officials at the cluster.

Hampton Grains plans to begin construction of a processing plant in the food cluster in 2016.
