(SEOUL=NEWSIS) North Jeolla Province held a business fair for regional small- and medium-sized companies (SMEs) on July 2 and 35 large-scale companies and 150 SMEs have participated in the fair.

The business fair was co-hosted by the Small and Medium Business Administration and North Jeolla Province and co-organized by the Corporate Partnership Foundation and Jeollabukdo Business Agency.

Around 70 purchasing officers from 35 large-scale companies and public agencies including Samsung Electronics and the Korea Western Power participated in the fair and carried out one-to-one purchasing-related consulting with 150 SMEs.

Ten large-scale distribution and food companies including Lotte Mart, Shinsegae, Harim, Hyundai Department Store and CJ Freshway have attended the fair to seek measures to cooperate with agricultural and food SMEs in North Jeolla Province.
