(JEONJU=Yonhap News) Jeonju City held an investor relations session on November 19 at Hotel Lewin, Jeonju. A total of 26 companies have participated in the event.

Under the theme, “Carbon industry-centered city, Jeonju”, the city explained the status of its residential environment, education and transportation to the participants and promised to provide them the best infrastructure and incentives.

The city also signed a move-in memorandum of understanding with Shinwoo Tech in Gimpo City, Gyeonggi Province and Sungjin Aero in Incheon City.

Shinwoo Tech will invest KRW 12 billion in the Jeonju Industrial Complex No. 1 by 2016 to produce parts for carbon LED devices. Sungjin Aero will invest KRW 4.5 billion in building a plant in the Jeonju eco-friendly industrial complex.
